{Beauty} Summer tips from Melinda, Poppy and Cindy

Summer is here and it’s time to up your beauty game. This is why we went to some of South Africa’s most beautiful for tips on how to do just that. This of course includes Veet ambassadors and experts, Melinda Bam, Poppy Ntshongwana and Cindy Nell. They shared with Nubian Bride their secrets to getting the summer glow.

Melinda Bam ‘@Melindabam‘ – Former Miss South Africa and businesswoman

Melinda is all about: Touchably smooth legs
“Veet wax strips and yoga go hand in hand… you can wax wherever you need to. Carry a few Veet wax strips in your bag this summer to make sure you are never caught off guard and you’ll always be perfectly groomed for the beach.”

Nubian Bride’s favourite beauty tip: To prevent ingrown hairs, make sure your skin is well exfoliated and moisturised. Hair can’t break through tight dry and hard skin and that causes some ingrown hairs. You need to exfoliate but always wait a day or two after removing the hair for when the skin isn’t too sensitive.  When it’s time, scrub off those dead skin cells for smooth touchable skin.

Poppy Ntshongwana ‘@PoppyIsMyName‘ – DJ and radio personality

Poppy is all about: Fabulous fashion finds
“Nude heels are a summer must have. They make your legs look thinner and longer.”

Nubian Bride’s favourite beauty tip: If you use bronzer on your legs, try some on your arms and all the other visible places, so that it looks more natural.

Cindy Nell ‘@CindyNell‘ – Former Miss South Africa and personality

Cindy is all about: Beauty grooming
“Grooming is the one thing we can all control – it’s worth making the time to do it”

Nubian Bride’s favourite beauty tip: Women should optimize natural beauty, one way is to open up your eyes by shaping your eyebrows!

What is you go-to summer grooming tip?  Share with the Nubian Bride fam, we would love to know.
