{Bridal News} Lebo’s fitness diary – 53 days to W-day!
Despite the challenges of adjusting to healthy eating habits, Lebo is determined to reach the goals she’s set for herself. When she began boot camp she weighed 70 kg and wanted to shed ten kilos. Lebo has since lost 3 kg. With only 52 days left will she be able to loose the remain 7 kg?
What has been your challenges thus far?
My biggest challenge is running and adjusting my eating habits. I have improved so much in most of the aspects of the training (upper and lower body) but I feel my running is not where it should be, then again I never was much of a runner, even at school.
How have your training sessions at Adventure Boot Camp been?
I attend the Randburg Boot camp and it is more fun than I expected. My trainers are quite different in their styles, Anne-Marie can be very hard in terms of what she expects us to do and you might find yourself totally breathless but at the end of the session you feel fantastic. Bianca on the other hand has her own style going on; hearing her scream my name at each session motivates me, that sort of encouragement makes one feel that all things are possible. Most importantly, I’m enjoying myself and it’s quite surprising because initially, I just saw boot camp as a means to an end and not a lifestyle.
What diet are you following?
My focus is eating healthy and portion control. My biggest challenge when it comes to diet, is that I have very bad eating habits, I would skip breakfast due to just not having the time and that would essentially mean, my first meal of the day would be anytime between 13h00 and 15h00. Now as you can imagine, this has completely messed up my metabolism, so I’m trying to correct that and also watch what goes into my system.
