{Fashion & Beauty} Bridal tips: Dos and Don’ts

As you begin the countdown to your wedding day, you might be tempted to try out new beauty regimes. But changing your diet or beauty products a couple of weeks before your wedding might not yield the desired outcomes. Here are a couple of dos and dont’s.

Don’t change your birth control
Hormone-based birth control pills come with side effects which can be bad enough to make you land you in bed for a day or make your skin break out, do you need this just before your big day? We don’t think so.

Do stick to a healthy diet
You’ve probably heard this a million times, but eating healthy is the best gift you can give yourself. A well balanced diet combined with exercise will do wonders for your body.

Don’t try out new detergent a month before your wedding
It’s great that it’s on sale and selling like hot cakes, even the ad on TV claims it’s the best of the best on the market. What if it has chemicals that you are allergic to? Will the rash be worth it?

Do get your hair colour done a week or so before the wedding day
Getting your hair dyed two weeks before your wedding will give you enough time to change your hair colour if you don’t like it.

Don’t be caught without your beauty emergency kit
What are you doing walking around without your beauty kit? This bit includes, make up remover wipes, hair spray, hair pins, gums. Thank us later.

Do drink a lot of water
By that we mean double up on the H20. It will keep your skin clear and glowing.
