{Good Advice} 5 mistakes to avoid when planning a wedding
1. You must consider your guests
Some of the people who will be attending your wedding, are likely to have traveled long distances. So take care to provide transport from the ceremony and reception areas. Also make sure they have everything they need before they head off to the hotel.
2. Don’t completely rule out social media
Your guests will understand if you ask them not to post your wedding pictures on social media during the ceremony, but might not be so understanding when you tell them not to share the festivities at all.
3. Don’t announce your engagement too soon
Before you share the news of your engagement with your virtual friends on cyber space. Tell your family and your closest friends first, if possible in person. After this you can do as you please.
4. Crash Diets
By all means thou shall not crash diet! Instead of cutting out some foods, adopt a healthier eating plan. If you want to succeed, you need to start doing this the day after your engagement. It’s better to slowly lose weight than losing it quickly and gaining it all back, once you start eating normal again.
5. Try to keep the time gap between ceremony and reception short
If moving from the ceremony venue to the reception area, ensure that your guests are not left with nothing to do. Make sure that there will be some form of entertainment, be it a hospitality lounge with drinks and snacks to keep them busy.
