{Real Wedding} Tumi & Tshiamo
The first time they laid eyes on one another was when Tshiamo was going for an eye test and Tumi was the optometrist. What was supposed to be a regular eye test turned out to be much more, and life became much brighter for Tshiamo after that.
When the time came for Tshiamo to propose he was nearly caught out by Tumi phoning him for lunch while he was at the jewellers. Her suspicions grew later that day when he came over to her house. Tshiamo called her from the bedroom to help him carry something, but then surprised her in the candle-lit kitchen by getting on his knee and popping the big question. She was thrilled and the two celebrated with champagne.
When their wedding day arrived it was exactly what they had hoped for and more. Everything was perfect from the weather to the setting, guests, food and emotions. A highlight of the day was standing up in front of all of their loved ones, the people who had made them who they are today, and professing their love.
Tumi loves the fact that her nephews still ululate whenever they see a white wedding dress or see her and Tshiamo holding hands. It brings back all the sweet memories of their wedding day.
