{Real Wedding} Zinzi & Tumi

Where and how did you meet?
We met at church in 2009 and the first time I met him I  liked him instantly.  It was a challenge because I was not sure whether it was infatuation or the real thing. I decided to be brave so I told him that I liked him, what a big mistake. He was not on the same page as me (if you know what I mean). I felt awkward and embarrassed, but since then I’ve always loved him even though we were not together. It went on for a while until in 2012, he actually proposed, so I waited for him for 4 years and I would go through it again.

How did he propose?
Well, it was not your everyday ‘going down on one knee’ type of thing. We were with our different leaders at church and he popped the question right there and then

Short description of the wedding day
Our wedding day was a memorable day for both of us, intimate with close friends and family

Highlights of the day for both groom and bride
Zinzi: Well for me was when he looked into my eyes and said his vows, he was a bit teary.
Tumi : Slipping in her ring after the vows, looking at her and thinking I still made the best decision ever.

What was your honeymoon plans?
Well, we’ve not sat down to discuss this yet. We do our best to make everyday seem like a honeymoon.
