Alternatively, you can host your wedding in a more informal outdoor style in Hazendal’s heritage Kraal. Couples wanting a glamorous and luxurious celebration can choose the fine-dining Avant-Garde Restaurant or the Grand Hall.

THE PAVILION
An interplay of nature and sleek architecture, the Hazendal Pavilion is a striking setting in which to exchange vows. It floats with effortless grace in the centre of a pond offering picture-perfect views of the gardens, the manor house and the distant Bottelary Hills and Simonsberg. The Pavilion can host an intimate ceremony accommodating up to 20 people and for larger parties, guests can be seated on the surrounding lawn and witness the bridal couple cross the walkway as a symbolic start of their new journey together.

AVANT-GARDE RESTAURANT
The fine dining Avant-Garde Restaurant offers an effortless blend of contemporary style and discreet opulence. Complete with an aquarium, chandeliers and a hand-painted ceiling, it is a magnificent setting with room for a fabulous party. With views of the wine cellar and vodka distillery, this venue will go a long way to creating a unique and elegant wedding experience.

The Kraal offers those who like the less ordinary something spectacularly extraordinary. A heritage site that once housed travelers’ oxen, The Kraal offers the perfect outdoors setting in which to host an al fresco wedding with a touch of rustic. Guests can revel in the picturesque view of the hills and enjoy the feeling of being in the countryside.
